Azure Cloud Administrator

AZURE CLOUD ADMINISTRATOR

As an Azure Cloud Administrator, you will:

  • Be responsible for creation, maintaining and retiring of various Azure Cloud resources.
  • Configure VMs, NICs, Storage, OS, Network resources on Azure platform.
  • Provide administration and management of growing hybrid and cloud solutions.
  • Plan and support Azure Windows Desktop Services implementations.
  • Build and support technologies for Azure platform.
  • Automate Azure infrastructure.
  • Maintain and manage the growing Azure estate.
  • Own the configuration and administer a set of services in line with the roadmap.
  • Azure migration from on-prem/cloud to Azure platform.
  • Continue to support on-prem infrastructure during the transformation.
  • Support the delivery of Cloud Services to increase user adoption and awareness.
  • Be involved in User Configuration, Application Security management on Azure Public & Hybrid platforms.
  • Implement Two Factor Authentication mechanism on Azure Cloud Windows & Storage services.
  • Provide out of hours support (1 in 4-week rotation).
  • Work alongside all members of the Cloud Services Team with cross over skills on all aspects of team activities.

We are looking for experience in the following skills:

  • Management/Administration of Azure and Hybrid platforms sharing Azure with others like AWS, Oracle, GCP etc.
  • Strong technical understanding of Microsoft Server Operating Systems.
  • Good Knowledge of Microsoft Hybrid Administration.
  • Extensive Active Directory understanding both on-prem and Azure AD.
  • Proficiency in backups and data storage.
  • PowerShell scripting skills.
  • Automate support processes & Process scripting.
  • Core Microsoft services such as IIS, DHCP, Group Policy and DNS.
  • End user Authentication -SSO, MFA, OAUTH, LDAP.
  • Deploy and maintain Azure/AWS IaaS to support growth into the cloud.
  • Familiarity with Security, Compliance and Sox/Auditing requirements.
  • Knowledge on LAN, WAN & SAN.
  • Flexible, willing & able to cope with change in a pressurized environment.
  • Ability to multi-task and work across a range of projects and issues with various timelines and priorities.
  • Excellent Communication and Strong documentation skills.

Experiences & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or related engineering discipline.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in administration of Azure Cloud resources.
  • Microsoft Certified Azure Administrator.
  • Familiar with various network & configuration implementations on Azure Public & Hybrid platforms.
  • SAN, VMs & Storage Backup and replication experience.
  • Cost Management, estimations to launch & enhance applications on Cloud Platforms.
  • Virtualisation Technologies experience.
  • Good problem solving and analytical capabilities.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
