
PRINCIPAL CONSULTANT – BUSINESS GROWTH & MARKET STRATEGY
As a Principal Consultant – Business Growth & Market Strategy, you will:
Drive Strategic Market Analysis and Business Growth:
- Lead in-depth market research and competitive analysis to uncover new business opportunities and market trends.
- Develop actionable strategies for market expansion, brand positioning, and revenue growth, ensuring alignment with the company’s long-term objectives.
Design and Implement Market Entry Strategies:
- Develop and execute market entry plans for new geographic regions and verticals, focusing on high-potential and emerging markets.
- Work closely with business development, marketing, and operational teams to ensure successful execution and smooth market entry.
Manage Client and Stakeholder Relationships:
- Build and nurture relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders, ensuring alignment on business goals and seamless collaboration.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to Director, providing insights and strategic recommendations on business growth and market strategies.
Lead and Mentor Teams:
- Lead and develop a team of consultants and analysts, providing mentorship, guidance, and feedback to optimize their performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the execution of strategies is cohesive, effective, and aligned with business objectives.
Track and Report on Performance:
- Monitor and measure the effectiveness of market strategies, making data-driven adjustments as necessary to ensure goals are met.
- Regularly report progress, market insights, and potential growth opportunities to senior management, ensuring transparency and alignment.
Foster Innovation and Industry Leadership:
- Stay ahead of market trends, competitor strategies, and global industry shifts, driving innovative ideas and approaches to business growth.
- Represent the company at key industry events, conferences, and forums, positioning yourself as a thought leader in business strategy.
We are looking for experience in the following skills:
- Proven ability to conduct comprehensive market research, competitive analysis, and data-driven insights to inform business growth strategies.
- Expertise in developing and executing market entry strategies, identifying growth opportunities, and driving revenue generation in emerging markets, particularly in regions like China and India.
- Experience working with teams across business development, marketing, operations, and senior leadership to ensure the cohesive implementation of business strategies
- Strong track record of building and maintaining relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders, including the ability to influence decision-making at the senior executive level.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor teams of consultants, analysts, and cross-functional groups, ensuring alignment with business objectives and fostering a culture of high performance.
- Expertise in utilizing both quantitative and qualitative data to drive business decisions, measure strategy performance, and adjust plans based on evolving market conditions.
- Deep understanding of global markets, with specific experience in emerging markets and cross-border strategies to help businesses scale internationally.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities, including the capacity to present complex strategies clearly and negotiate effectively with clients, partners, and internal stakeholders.
- Ability to thrive in dynamic, fast-paced environments and solve complex business challenges through innovative and creative solutions.
- Proficiency in multiple languages (e.g., Mandarin & English, Hindi & English) is mandatory, especially for roles involving market entry in non-English-speaking regions.
Experiences & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Economics, Marketing, or a related field. An MBA or other advanced degree is preferred.
- 7-10 years of experience in business consulting, market strategy, or a related field, with a demonstrated history of successful market expansion and business growth.
- Strong understanding of global markets, with particular expertise in emerging markets, especially in China and India.
- Excellent strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
- Proficient in both quantitative and qualitative research, with expertise in market analysis tools and methodologies.
- Outstanding communication, presentation, and negotiation skills..
