DEVOPS ENGINEER
As a DevOps Engineer, you will:
- Work on the project assignments to transform IT Applications of our Supply chain & Retail Markets clients to Agile methodology from Waterfall SDLC by implementation of DevOps practices.
- Work along Business functional specialists for smooth transformations, and responsible for the optimization and maintenance of a Private & Hybrid cloud environments on preferred various Cloud Services like BM Power Systems, IIB, Azure App Services, Oracle Cloud services etc.
- Work with the Solution Architects, Infrastructure Engineers and Application Support teams to determine gaps in Application DR plans.
- Work with Technical Product Owner, Solution Architects and Application Support teams.
- Be responsible for building out the platform for development teams to self-service environments
We are looking for experience in the following skills:
- Software development lifecycle (Agile/Lean methodologies).
- Knowledge of Continuous Delivery and Continuous Deployment.
- Knowledge of NoSQL systems (MongoDB, Elasticsearch, Redis.
- Cloud platform (Azure, AWS, etc).
- Pipeline experience (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, etc).
- Familiarity with monitoring systems and distributed systems.
- Containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
- Experience with Kubernetes.
- Comfortable with any public cloud provider (GCP is a bonus).
Experiences & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or related engineering discipline.
- Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience with software design, architecture and development life cycle.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Azure cloud solutions using ARM and in standard Disaster Recovery processes and documentation.
- Minimum 2 year of experience in DevOps role.
- Technical Certificates to a specific technical domain, for example AWS, Azure, Networking & Storage.
- Excellent knowledge in architectural governance, architecture decisions, exceptions, standards etc.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
